Start this historic tour of England’s most prestigious University cities at Oxford, with a walking guided tour of the oldest university in England, and through the narrow cobbled alleys and ancient squares of this beautiful town. Follow in the footsteps of Oxford's famous students, from C.S. Lewis to Bill Clinton as you stroll through the captivating college courtyards and lanes. Before heading to Cambridge, don’t miss the Bodleian Library – one of the oldest libraries in Europe – and Christ Church College, instantly recognisable as one of the major locations for the Harry Potter films where the magical grandeur of the Great Hall was used as the setting for Hogwarts. 

After soaking up the culture in Oxford, you’ll head to the historic city of Cambridge, known for the illustrious University of Cambridge, as well as the River Cam – along which you’ll see people punting with flat bottomed boats and long poles.  The University city also boasts the renowned Cavendish Laboratory, King’s College Chapel, and the Cambridge University Library, as well as the oldest college, Peterhouse, which dates back to 1284.
